About the position

Quattro Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (PE) to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest. The role involves providing electrical engineering support across various projects, ensuring compliance with codes and constructability, and offering mentorship to junior engineers. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to facilitate the execution of NAVFAC's diverse mission.

Responsibilities

• Electrical engineering design and production support from project inception through construction.
• Develop and execute projects with both Design-Bid-Build and Design Build delivery methods.
• Provide technical leadership/mentorship to junior engineers/designers and review other electrical engineers' work for code compliance and constructability.
• Estimate design efforts.
• Provide technical expertise in negotiations with Architectural-Engineering firms and general contractors.
• Address contractor submittals and requests for information (RFIs).

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in electrical engineering design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with NAVFAC or similar government projects.
• Familiarity with Design-Bid-Build and Design Build delivery methods.
• Strong negotiation skills with contractors and engineering firms.
