As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Propulsion at Anduril Industries, you will play a crucial role in the research and development of advanced aircraft engines and their components. Your work will involve designing cutting-edge combustion and fuel injection systems that are integral to the performance of military aircraft. You will be responsible for the full cycle of PCB design, which includes gathering requirements, creating schematic designs, selecting components, overseeing or completing layout tasks, and conducting the necessary testing and debugging to ensure integration with the overall system. In addition to PCB design, you will develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect various electronic equipment. Your role will also require you to conduct vendor surveys and evaluations to support the sourcing of engine system components. You will participate in peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary standards and requirements. Furthermore, you will be involved in the build-up and testing of engine system components through lab, ground, and flight tests, providing critical insights and data to support field operations. Root cause analysis will also be a key part of your responsibilities, helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during testing and operational phases.
