About the position

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, with opportunities available in multiple office locations including Billings, MT, Phoenix, AZ, and Portland, OR. This role is pivotal in supporting renewable energy designs, specifically for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of assignments that encompass the design and analysis of underground collector systems, routing, and the development of comprehensive system plans. Responsibilities will also include creating grounding plans, conduit plans, and preparing bills of materials, as well as electric schematics and conceptual designs to support bidding processes. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, along with a minimum of 4 years of design engineering experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as excellent organizational and planning abilities. The role requires a commitment to quality and accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment. While a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates must have a fundamental understanding of power engineering principles and be familiar with applicable codes and standards. Additionally, the successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checks, and occasional travel/driving is required, necessitating compliance with ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.

Responsibilities
