About the position

The Electrical Engineer (RF) position at TRAX International involves working under limited supervision as an entry-level engineer focused on Radio-Frequency (RF) systems engineering. This role is part of an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts and professional engineers, where the primary responsibility is to perform technical and planning tasks that characterize how RF systems operate in modern electromagnetic battlefield environments. The engineer will engage in various testing activities, including radio frequency allocation, intra-system electromagnetic compatibility, and electronic attack (jamming). The position requires the engineer to set up, troubleshoot, and operate electromagnetic environments, ensuring spectrum compatibility. The role also involves the design and development of RF testing methodologies, as well as programming and operating RF automated instrumentation and test equipment. A significant part of the job includes the collection, reduction, and analysis of data to characterize the performance of complex systems concerning radio frequency issues. The engineer will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned to support mission requirements, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
