About the position

The Electrical Engineer in Risk Management at Faith Technologies is responsible for performing essential electrical engineering tasks related to power, lighting, and low voltage systems for construction projects. This role involves working under the supervision of senior engineering staff and requires proficiency in engineering software and tools. The position emphasizes safety, innovation, and professional growth within a leading electrical services company.

Responsibilities

• Study technical drawings and worksheets to create or update engineering models in ETAP.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering and data entry software to perform engineering tasks.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications, with direction from an upper-level Engineer.
• Model short circuit and Arc Flash calculations.
• Generate reports for customers or update spreadsheets based on calculations.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering - Electrical, or Associate Degree in Electrical Technology.
• 4 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit.
• Understanding of electrical terminology and symbols.
• Familiarity with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ETAP software.
• Knowledge of safety standards in electrical engineering.
