About the position

The Electrical Engineer, SME position at Millennium Corporation involves supporting mission-critical operations within the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO). The role requires an active secret clearance and focuses on research, design, development, testing, and supervision of electrical equipment and systems for various applications, including military and scientific use. The engineer will serve as a subject matter expert and provide strategic guidance to the customer and team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison with other skilled commercial contractors and government agencies regarding research and development efforts in support of the Customer's mission.
• Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.
• Provide strategic guidance to the Customer and team involving tool testing and future development.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in electrical engineering.

Requirements

• Must have an active Secret clearance.
• Recognized industry leader in electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Expert understanding of automotive/telematic systems.
• Expert understanding of embedded electronic systems.
• Ability to read and create schematics for custom electronics.
• Ability to repair and modify custom electronic systems.
• Ability to create and follow test plans for analyzing Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and Government off the Shelf (GOTS) electronics systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in business development activities such as participation in technical interviews and proposal writing support.
