About the position

The Test Equipment Engineer (TEE) at BAE Systems plays a crucial role in supporting electronic controls test equipment within the Controls and Avionics Solutions (CAS) business. This position involves hands-on implementation of hardware test requirements, continuous improvement of electronic controls, and collaboration with design engineering to execute test solutions for new products. The role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a balance between onsite and remote work, while contributing to the development of advanced aerospace solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support electronic controls test equipment within the Fort Wayne factory and other BAE Systems sites worldwide.
• Implement hardware test requirements with in-house and/or third-party automated test solutions.
• Initiate continuous improvement of electronic controls in response to test performance and yields.
• Design, integrate, maintain, and manage configuration of automated test hardware and software.
• Support repair and maintenance for equipment installed at BAE Systems locations globally.
• Liaise with Design Engineering in Endicott, New York to execute test solutions for new products.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with electronic controls and test equipment.
• Strong understanding of automated test solutions and hardware requirements.
• Experience in design, integration, and maintenance of test hardware and software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
