About the position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with over 4 years of experience to join a leading Water/Wastewater company. This position is available in multiple markets, including Southern California, Northern California, Florida (Coral Springs, West Palm Beach, Orlando, or Miami), Denver, or Phoenix. Initially, we are starting with one hire but may potentially hire a second candidate. The ideal candidates will have experience in water/wastewater, but we are also open to candidates from industrial or large commercial backgrounds, excluding retail, restaurants, homes, multifamily, offices, and tenant improvements. Candidates with water/wastewater experience who have a stable job history may be considered for a fully remote position, regardless of their location. The role involves working with various electrical engineering principles and practices, particularly in the context of water and wastewater systems. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, power systems, short circuit current analysis, voltage drop calculations, harmonic distortion assessments, and power factor evaluations. Familiarity with field investigative techniques and standards such as IEEE, NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC is also essential. This is a permanent position that offers a hybrid work environment, requiring some days on-site in Littleton, Colorado, and some days remote. The pay range for mid-level positions is between $96,000 and $102,000, while expert-level positions range from $119,000 to $135,000. Minimal travel is expected, approximately 5-10%, primarily for deliverable submissions and workshops lasting 1-2 days. Flexible work hours are available, with working hours between 7 AM and 6 PM, based on performance. The team consists of 45 electrical professionals across the country and is part of a larger team focused on electrical programming, instrumentation, and controls, specifically on the electrical power side.
