Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and certify defense systems in support of US national security policy.
  • Provide recommendations on complicated threat systems based on technical evaluations.
  • Develop skills in systems and electrical engineering while gaining experience in defense programs.
  • Assess systems against technical requirements and identify concerns and issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their environments and develop tailored engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with electrical design, development, or evaluation.
  • Experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and schematic design.
  • Experience with DoD Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) systems.
  • Knowledge of power delivery systems for efficient and reliable operations.
  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
  • Knowledge of system architecture and design methodologies.
  • Ability to evaluate systems against technical requirements and identify concerns and issues.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Experience in Independent Verification and Validation.
  • Experience in requirement traceability.
  • Experience with logic devices and embedded systems or programming software.
  • Experience in MIL-STD-464 and MIL-STD-461.
  • Experience in Hazard of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance.
  • Ability to communicate advanced electrical engineering concepts clearly to non-technical individuals.
  • Top Secret clearance preferred.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field a plus.
