About the position

As an Electrical Engineer / Designer at Actalent, you will be responsible for various aspects of electrical design projects, including power distribution systems, low voltage infrastructure for IT and security systems, and lighting systems. The role involves selecting fixtures, performing calculations for loads, fault currents, and voltage drops, as well as conducting field surveys and providing support during the construction phase.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• 1+ year of low voltage system design experience
• Proficient in Revit
• EIT or EI certification preferred
• Experience in power distribution design
• Knowledge of low voltage infrastructure design
• Experience in lighting design and calculations
• Ability to perform load, fault current, and voltage drop calculations
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Project management skills
