About the position

As an Electrical Engineer at Roche, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and advancing healthcare solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of design principles and practices, particularly in complex systems. You will be responsible for generating design concepts, participating in design reviews, and conducting development and testing to ensure that performance aligns with design specifications. Reliability testing and assessing system interactions will also be key components of your role. You will be expected to make independent decisions and assist in developing manufacturing processes while troubleshooting issues to identify root causes and propose engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will include consistently applying company concepts, policies, and procedures while being familiar with and adhering to standard practices. You will participate in defining new components, products, or processes and identifying technical challenges that may arise. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to create potentially patentable components for systems or processes, plan and execute assigned projects, and utilize your technical and theoretical understanding of various engineering techniques. Data analysis will be a significant part of your role, where you will evaluate results, draw conclusions, and implement process or document improvements. You will apply advanced engineering knowledge to your projects, participate in project planning, and contribute to experimental design. Monitoring your work to ensure quality and promoting a culture of Quality First Time will be essential to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a directly related discipline and 4 years of related experience; OR a MS degree in a directly related discipline plus 2 years of related experience required; OR a PhD degree in a directly related discipline and no experience required.
