Actalent, an award-winning architecture and engineering firm, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves coordinating with various disciplines and working collaboratively in a team environment to ensure project success. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for conducting field investigations as necessary, producing detailed field reports accompanied by sketches that accurately reflect the findings. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established schedules and budgets, showcasing the candidate's organizational and time management skills. The Electrical Engineer will work on a diverse range of project types, scales, and complexities, particularly in sectors such as heavy industry, metals, chemical/petrochemical, and environmental projects. Key responsibilities include sizing breakers and starters, conduit and cable sizing, and developing 2-D orthographic design drawings as well as single line and network diagrams. The role also involves meeting with clients to discuss project requirements and expectations, and reviewing electrical systems installations during construction to ensure compliance with the construction documents.
