About the position

The Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems for customers. This position involves providing electrical design, engineering, and power system analysis services, along with project management, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance at customer facilities. The engineer will also offer technical support to in-house teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough arc flash studies to identify potential hazards in electrical systems.
• Utilize specialized software to model systems and calculate incident energy levels.
• Create arc flash labels to ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Design and optimize electrical systems for reliability, performance, and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate safety measures into all electrical designs.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs in coordination with Field Services to improve the reliability of electrical equipment.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical assistance for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
• Support team members in solving complex electrical problems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, studies, and compliance efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design and power system analysis.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Experience with arc flash analysis and related software tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
• Experience with project management.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
