About the position

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop the SLQ-32(V)7 SEWIP BLK3 Low Band Transmit Slat Array, Low Band Receive Slat Array, and High Band Receive Aperture Assembly test stations' hardware interfacing solutions. This role includes tasks such as drawings, requirements development, integration, prototype development, and supporting test capability development through the creation of system wiring diagrams. You will work with various engineers to prototype, integrate, and establish hardware solutions for the sustainment of fleet assets. Additionally, you will provide system wiring updates and changes to systems engineers, review changes in Cameo systems modeler, and develop wiring diagrams in Solid Edge. This position is crucial for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of advanced radar systems, contributing to the overall mission of enhancing fleet capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop hardware interfacing solutions for SLQ-32(V)7 SEWIP BLK3 systems.
  • Create and update system wiring diagrams.
  • Collaborate with engineers to prototype and integrate hardware solutions.
  • Support test capability development through prototype development.
  • Review changes in Cameo systems modeler and implement necessary updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years experience in the full life cycle of hardware development designing printed circuit boards.
  • Understanding of electrical and digital circuit concepts and analysis.
  • Experience with electronic circuit design - mixed signal.
  • Ability to obtain secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Wiring diagram development experience using Solid Edge preferred, but not required.
  • FPGA Experience.
  • Familiarity designing with Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, or Cadence.
