About the position

QT Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our fast-paced and growing company in Greensboro, NC. The role involves utilizing engineering software for computer-aided design, focusing on the design of custom switch boards and industrial control panels to meet UL standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical design, along with experience in switch gear and switch board design.

Responsibilities

• Using engineering software and equipment for computer-aided design.
• 3D design of custom switch boards to UL 891 standards.
• Design of industrial control panels (layout and schematics) to UL 508A standards.
• Enforcing construction, manufacturing, and installation standards.
• Calculating project costs and delivery timelines.
• Providing quality assurance for ongoing projects.
• Supervising and designing test procedures.
• Collaborating with clients and other professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• 3 years of experience in electrical engineering (preferred).
• 3 years of experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in switch gear/switch board design.
