About the position

The Electrical Engineer position is crucial for an innovative and growing medical device engineering and manufacturing company. The role involves providing technical support for existing and new products, focusing on electrical and circuit-related issues, while also participating in the design and development of new products. The engineer will work closely with various functional areas to ensure timely project completion and maintain product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for existing and new products by developing solutions for electrical/circuit-related problems with some supervisory oversight.
• Research, verify, and implement the replacement of end-of-life components while sustaining current product design intents.
• Implement new designs and solutions to existing products and actively participate in the design of new products, systems, and sub-systems.
• Generate test protocols and reports and execute product testing within the Fry Laboratory.
• Project planning and execution to ensure timely completion of tasks, interfacing with all functional areas affected by products including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Supply Chain, and Service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in medical device engineering and manufacturing.
• Strong technical support skills, particularly in electrical and circuit issues.
• Ability to conduct research and implement design changes effectively.

• Experience with product design and QA processes.
• Familiarity with project planning and execution in a cross-functional environment.
