About the position

Revolt Motors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team, focusing on the development of advanced circuits, systems, and components for electric vehicles. The role emphasizes manufacturability and collaboration with other engineers to innovate and design next-generation powertrains. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive or similar industries and be passionate about advancing electric vehicle technology.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead and motivate Electrical Engineers and Technicians.
  • Plan execution, allocate tasks, and ensure on-time delivery and feature traceability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to bridge technical gaps for efficient integration and deployment.
  • Perform feasibility studies and provide project execution projections, resource needs, and identify key risks.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact product features for key customers and applications.
  • Create harnessing schematics and drawings for high and low voltage harnessing.
  • Perform 3D harness fitment and length analysis.
  • Oversee Electrical Integration of new components/features on the vehicle.
  • Provide technical expertise for electro-mechanical interfacing, including cable routing and support bracketry.
  • Work closely with other engineering teams to implement new products or projects.
  • Analyze design and implementation of new circuits and systems.
  • Test and improve current systems and components.
  • Provide technical support to the facility and staff.
  • Provide input for timing, scheduling of products, and projected expenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Automotive/Industrial harnessing experience highly preferred.
  • Experience using engineering and design software such as Autodesk Fusion, KiCAD, EPLAN.
  • Experience designing with manufacturing in mind.
  • Experience with design documentation.
  • Proven track record of delivering products in automotive, agriculture, mining, or transportation industries.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards such as ISO-26262, IEC 61508, or DO178.
  • Experience in developing electrical schematics for low and high voltage power distribution.
  • Experience in developing harness diagrams, routing, and work instructions.
  • Experience with developing design validation plans, FMEA's, and other process documentation.
