About the position

As an Electrical Engineer at Capstan AG, you will play a crucial role in the innovative field of agricultural engineering and manufacturing. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and develop electrical and electronic system specifications, products, components, and applications. This will involve designing and conducting research programs while applying your knowledge of electrical materials and products. You will actively participate in activities necessary to generate and maintain product designs specifically in the area of precision agricultural spray technology. Your involvement will span all phases of the engineering design process, including development, project management, prototype creation, pre-production, qualification, and ongoing product design maintenance. You will conduct research and analyze study results in both laboratory and field settings, ensuring that the products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will interface closely with production and purchasing personnel to identify and approve suppliers, conduct design and drawing reviews, and manage deviation requests. Your support and information will be vital in ensuring that the engineering processes align with production capabilities and market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop electrical and electronic system specifications, products, components, and applications.
  • Design and conduct research programs applying knowledge of electrical materials and products.
  • Participate in activities necessary to generate and maintain product designs in precision agricultural spray technology.
  • Engage in engineering design through all phases including development, project management, prototype, pre-production, qualification, and product design maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in electrical and electronic system design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical materials and products.
  • Proven ability to conduct research and analyze results in laboratory and field settings.
  • Experience in project management and product design processes.
