About the position

SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide support for missile battery testing for the US Navy in Crane, IN. The role involves creating and executing test procedures, collecting and evaluating data, and reporting results to support various battery designs, including new prototypes and developmental energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Create test procedures for testing all types of missile battery systems.
• Plan and execute the test procedures.
• Collect and evaluate data from tests.
• Provide results and conclusions to support various battery designs.
• Conduct aging and surveillance, lot acceptance, qualification, and special engineering tests.
• Ensure plans and procedures are in accordance with DoD requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Three (3) years of related experience, including battery development and testing.
• Interim Secret Clearance required to start, with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
