About the position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in York, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as the ability to manage projects from conception through to completion. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. In this position, you will manage the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical and instrumentation systems. You will also be tasked with maintaining and improving existing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively. The role involves designing and developing electrical systems for both new and existing facilities, which requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes and regulations. Additionally, you will oversee the development of system drawings, schematics, and documentation, ensuring that all technical specifications are met. Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems and equipment.
  • Manage the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Maintain and improve existing electrical systems and equipment.
  • Design and develop electrical systems for new or existing facilities.
  • Oversee the development of system drawings, schematics, and documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Strong proficiency in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Power Systems, High Voltage, Power Distribution, Relay Protection, met1, met2, PLC, DCS, AC/DC, Power Plans, I/O drawing, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
