About the position

The Electrical Engineer will be part of the Electrical Engineering department at a leading technology company in Cupertino, California. This role involves supporting various teams by diagnosing hardware and software issues, reading schematics, and utilizing lab equipment. The ideal candidate will possess both practical and theoretical knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics and component data sheets
• Diagnose issues at the intersection of hardware and software
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, electrical)
• Report issues to internal teams and external vendors
• Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies
