About the position

L&T Technology Services Ltd. is seeking multiple Electrical Engineers to join our team in Edison, NJ, and various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. The primary responsibility of the Electrical Engineer will be to design, implement, maintain, and enhance electrical instruments and products. This role requires collaboration with both engineers and customers to discuss existing and potential engineering projects, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary specifications and requirements. The Electrical Engineer will be tasked with designing circuits that comply with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements. This includes preparing technical drawings and specifications for electrical systems, as well as conducting Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and EMC testing to ensure product reliability and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and be adept at using various engineering software tools to facilitate their work. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of engineering experience. This experience must include at least one year of proficiency in using AutoCAD Electrical, DIALux Lighting Calculation, Allen Bradley IAD, and Instrument Sizing Software (such as Emerson Electric or Samson). Additionally, candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. In cases where a bachelor's degree is not held, we will consider candidates with a suitable combination of education, training, and experience as evaluated by a professional service. This position requires travel and potential relocation, with domestic travel to various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs. International travel is not a requirement for this role. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any) or related field.
  • Two years of engineering experience, including one year of experience using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Experience with DIALux Lighting Calculation, Allen Bradley IAD, and Instrument Sizing Software (e.g., Emerson Electric, Samson).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
