About the position

The Electrical Engineer role focuses on the design and analysis of an Ad-Hoc Implanted Heart Pump System aimed at assisting patients with heart failure. The engineer will work on the electronic and electro-mechanical design of the equipment, particularly the User Interface Controller, and will be responsible for conducting electrical design reviews, identifying design issues, and proposing solutions. This position requires collaboration with team members primarily located in California.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the electronic electro-mechanical design of the implanted heart pump system.
• Conduct electrical design reviews of documents and identify tolerance or design issues.
• Run schematics to identify gaps and open issues, and highlight them for resolution.
• Identify solutions to design issues and gaps in the electrical design.

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical design.
• Experience in product electrical testing and analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes or electrical assemblies.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
• Understanding of battery technology and design.
• Experience with power supply systems.
