About the position

The Electrical Engineer will serve as a technical expert for the Landing Signal Officer Display System (LSODS) within the NAWCAD SE & ALRE Group. This role involves overseeing electrical engineering design, development, installation, and system operational verification testing, while also managing complex problem-solving tasks and interfacing with multiple customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the LSODS Technical Expert for electrical engineering design and development.
• Oversee installation and system operational verification testing (SOVT) for LSODS.
• Perform complex problem solving and analysis related to LSODS with multiple customers/interfaces.
• Act as the In-service lead engineer for LSODS, addressing fleet issues.
• Manage and lead installation and SOVT efforts across multiple functional or discipline areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical engineering design and development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems.
• Experience in managing installation and testing efforts.
