About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Havertown. This position is critical as we are currently facing a significant increase in our workload, and we need a skilled professional to help manage and execute various engineering projects. Our company specializes in providing engineering services for a wide range of projects, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), FP (Fire Protection), and LV (Low Voltage) construction, with project costs ranging from $15,000 to $450 million. Additionally, we handle general construction projects with costs between $1 million and $2.5 billion. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design and engineering of large commercial and high-rise buildings. Your expertise will be essential in developing building power distribution systems, creating single line diagrams, and conducting short circuit and arc flash evaluations. You will also design fire alarm systems, grounding systems, and lighting systems, including dimming controls. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant building codes is crucial for this role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the design and engineering of large-scale projects. Proficiency in Revit or CAD software is required, as these tools will be integral to your work. We prefer candidates with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration, but those with an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification will also be considered. This is an urgent hire, and we are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
