About the position

The Electrical Engineer position at E-Solutions Inc. involves a range of responsibilities focused on skid packaging and cabling for offshore operations. The role requires defining instruments and electrical equipment suitable for 60Hz offshore operations, including ATEX components. The engineer will be tasked with identifying loops that need to be removed and implementing new loops as part of the project. Additionally, the position involves re-arranging Motor Control Centers (MCC) and Unit Control Panels (UCP) to fit a new design that meets operational requirements. A significant aspect of the role includes identifying new loop components such as wires, junction boxes (JBs), and input/output (I/O) cards that need to be ordered, and coordinating with the Purchasing department to ensure timely procurement. The Electrical Engineer will also produce adjusted electrical manufacturing documentation, including electrical drawings and bills of materials, to support the project. During the assembly phase, the engineer will assist in resolving potential issues and updating documentation as necessary. Another critical responsibility is defining generator protection setpoints and ensuring their implementation within the local grid. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical equipment from reputable companies such as Woodward and Basler systems, along with experience in the oil and gas domain, which is essential for the successful execution of the project.
