Electrical Engineer

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to help serve our connection of clients and community. Responsibilities

• Design consulting services with a focus on electrical power distribution, lighting, communications, fire protection designs, and arc flash analysis.
• Electrical design and coordination of various industrial and municipal projects with an emphasis on water/wastewater treatment plant related buildings, industrial facilities, building electrical systems, generators, and HVAC.
• Establish design criteria, perform design calculations, develop one-line diagrams, schematics, and plans and specifications.
• Review manufacturer information to assure compliance with specifications.
• Assist in cost estimating, code review, field investigation, report writing, and other electrical engineering related tasks.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including review of equipment submittals, shop drawings, and information requests from contractors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
• 3+ years of relevant MEP experience.
• Knowledge of NESC and NFPA codes.
• EIT or the ability to obtain within one (1) year from date of hire.
• PE or the ability to obtain within (3) years from date of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using ETAP, SKM Power, or other power systems analysis software.
