Fountain Services, LLC is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Engineering Assistant in our Spindale, NC office. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of designs and specifications for components of the electrical scope of work on commercial and industrial construction projects
- Analyze construction drawings to identify opportunities for engineered solutions to installation issues
- Provide administrative support to project management teams, including scheduling, budgeting, and tracking.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Strong computer, data entry, and data analysis skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Projects and Excel, and/or Bluebeam, or willingness to enroll in classes to gain proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and schematics
- Attention to detail, organization, strong mathematical skills, and ability to multi-task
- Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation
Nice-to-haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other relevant field preferred
- Relevant licenses or certifications preferred
- Training included for this position, with expectations to participate in some training outside of work hours to further capability and competence in this field
