As an Electrical Engineering Intern at 1898 & Co., you will be responsible for performing tasks that require the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures. This role involves engaging in the standard design of engineering systems, correcting and updating existing designs, and assisting lead engineers with various project duties. The specific assignments and project work will vary depending on the market segments, which include utilities, manufacturing, oil, gas and chemicals, ports, and government sectors. Your responsibilities will include assisting with tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and documentation, as well as creating PowerPoint presentations. You will also assist in responding to general questions and participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data. Presenting solutions to concerns and researching solutions to project issues will be key components of your role, along with analyzing and recommending solutions to problems. Additionally, you will assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers, ensuring compliance with all company policies and standards.
