About the position
As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Jacobs, you will be part of a collaborative Life Sciences team in Conshohocken, PA, focusing on innovative solutions in power system planning, renewable energy, and construction coordination. This internship offers hands-on experience in design services under the mentorship of professional engineers and architects, allowing you to contribute to impactful projects that address client challenges globally.
Responsibilities
- Provide design services under the guidance of professional engineers and architects.
- Coordinate with the design of other trades (architectural and engineering).
- Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assigned work.
- Progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated projects.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a degree-seeking program for Electrical Engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Nice-to-haves
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and basic rendering and publishing programs.
- Previous internship experience in a corporate engineering environment.
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain.
