About the position
Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join their St. Paul, Minnesota office. This position is designed for individuals currently pursuing an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree, either at the Bachelor's or Master's level. The role focuses on utilizing technical software to analyze and produce deliverables, while also supporting the Power Delivery team in substation design.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
- Solve complex problems and assist project managers in project execution.
- Collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and clients' practices and standards.
- Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required.
- Support the Power Delivery team specifically in substation design.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters).
