Our Engineering Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures. This includes standard design of engineering systems, correcting and updating designs, assisting lead engineers with various project duties, and other duties as assigned. Specific assignments and project work vary depending on the market segments. In the Power group, the responsibilities include the planning, design, and startup of power generation technologies including gas turbines, solar, batteries, hydrogen, carbon capture, and nuclear plant services. Interns will assist with tasks that may include filing, scanning, data entry, documentation, and creating PowerPoint presentations. They will also assist with responses to general questions and participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data. Presenting solutions to concerns and researching solutions to project concerns are also key responsibilities. Interns will analyze and recommend solutions to problems and assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers. Candidates are expected to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and should be involved on campus or in the community. It is essential that candidates are legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located. Interns will also comply with all company policies and standards, performing other duties as assigned.
