About the position

Legrand is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 to join the Pass & Seymour Team in Middletown, PA. This paid internship offers flexible work arrangements and provides an opportunity to develop competencies in various electrical engineering specializations, including circuit analysis, prototype testing, and research on electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Build, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, sub-assemblies, and products using various digital and analog test equipment.
• Coordinate prototype testing with test engineering to ensure product and customer documentation is correct and up-to-date.
• Test prototypes and products in the engineering test lab for safety, performance, and conformance to requirements.
• Research and determine requirements for electrical components and systems.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or an Associate Degree program in Electronics Technology or similar disciplines from an accredited institution.
• 3.0 GPA or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at the time of application).
• Ability to work collaboratively on a team and have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to use standard electronic lab tools/equipment, soldering station, hand tools, etc.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with digital and analog test equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical circuit design.
