About the position

Olsson provides engineering services for large commercial developments, hospitals, laboratories, school/university buildings, and military facilities. As a summer 2025 electrical engineering student intern on our Mechanical/Electrical team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You'll work alongside experienced staff and engineers using both AutoCAD and Revit to create construction documents and specifications. Our electrical design services can include power distribution, lighting, and electrical modeling. We have one current internship opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Oklahoma City, OK or Tulsa, OK office location.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on, real-world work in electrical engineering.
• Collaborate with experienced staff and engineers on projects.
• Use AutoCAD and Revit to create construction documents and specifications.
• Assist in electrical design services including power distribution, lighting, and electrical modeling.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with either AutoCAD or Revit preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
