About the position

Michael Baker International is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 to join their Moon Township, PA team. The intern will be involved in design and documentation for various project types, focusing on federal and international opportunities, as well as market-driven diversification in sectors like healthcare and transit. This role offers a chance to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with electrical calculations and produce construction drawings based on sketches and verbal instructions.
• Lay out engineering designs in BIM and/or CAD.
• Work within a team performing various tasks related to electrical engineering projects.
• Assist other departments within the office as needed.
• Develop deliverables under the guidance of a licensed engineer.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering at an accredited university or college with a focus on electrical power and lighting.
• Interest in electrical engineering systems for vertical building design.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, AGi32, Visual, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills.

Benefits
