The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience, with reimbursement of a portion of relocation expenses for highly qualified candidates willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply construction documents, drawings, designs, and schematics.
• Develop designs and specifications for components of the electrical scope of work on commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Identify and implement opportunities for engineered solutions to installation issues.
• Drive the efficiency and productivity of electrical installations on commercial construction projects.
• Manage an 8-10 person engineering department and support its further growth.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering for large commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Projects, Excel, Bluebeam, ProCore, and/or ConEst.
• Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and an ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team.
• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree and/or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
• Relevant licenses or certifications preferred.
• Experience and proficiency in the use of pre-fabrication for electrical systems installations.
