About the position
BSA LifeStructures is seeking a current Electrical Engineering student for a Summer 2025 internship opportunity. The role involves participating in the development of design ideas and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to create environments that support healing, learning, and discovery.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of design ideas based on factors such as appealing appearance, design-function relationships, serviceability, and client specifications.
- Prepare working drawings from sketches and design specifications.
- Prepare presentations and materials for clients.
- Participate in project design meetings to experience how multi-disciplinary teams collaborate on project design and delivery.
- Attend client meetings and visit construction sites on projects.
- Participate in site surveys to gather field data.
Requirements
- Current student of an accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering program.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, 3D CADD, and SketchUp.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
