About the position
The Electrical Engineering Technician position at Filtertech/US Centrifuge Inc. is a full-time role focused on supporting manufacturing operations through electrical engineering expertise. The technician will be responsible for interpreting electrical schematics, designing components using AutoCAD, and wiring control panels. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial controls and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Interpret electrical schematics and design select components using AutoCAD.
- Wire control panels, equipment, and devices.
- Understand the operation of electrical devices, motors, and instruments.
- Demonstrate knowledge of industrial controls and conduit fabrication.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems effectively.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Electrical Technology or related technical discipline.
- Completion of training in a certified electrical technical school program.
- Knowledge of industrial controls and conduit fabrication.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience with PLC programming preferred.
