About the position

The Electrical Engineering Technician II role at Aerotek involves providing technical support for aerospace electronic products, specifically focusing on power inverters, transformer rectifiers, and generator control units for the Embraer KC390. The technician will troubleshoot issues, prepare non-conformance dispositions, and collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure product quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide production technical support and complete resolution of issues for in-service and legacy aerospace electronics products.
• Perform troubleshooting and lab testing of aerospace electronic products.
• Prepare dispositions for non-conformance of aerospace electronic products, following investigation and development of substantiating data as required.
• Regularly liaise with manufacturing and suppliers to clarify and provide engineering input during the manufacturing process.
• Monitor troubleshooting trends on product lines and use first pass yield data to direct design-related improvements to product lines.

Requirements

• Experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician or similar role in aerospace electronics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electronic products.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and dispositions for non-conformance.
• Experience liaising with manufacturing and suppliers in an engineering context.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with power inverters and transformer rectifiers.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes in manufacturing.
