About the position

The Electrical Engineering Technician at Trelleborg Seals & Profiles is responsible for processing technical tasks in the field of instrumentation, control, and automation (ICA) engineering. This role involves assembling precision mechanical and electronic components, troubleshooting and repairing existing systems, and conducting electronic measurements. The position is based in Milford, NH, and requires a commitment to service excellence and teamwork while supporting the company's growth in the US market.

Responsibilities

• Independent processing of technical tasks in ICA engineering.
• Assemble precision mechanical and electronic components according to technical drawings and check for function.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair existing systems.
• Commissioning and testing of complete systems for trenchless sewer rehabilitation.
• Conduct electronic measurements on control systems and electronic components.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic components and assemblies.
• Perform soldering work on electrical/electronic components and assemblies.

Requirements

• Electrical engineer or completed vocational education as a mechatronics technician, mechanic, electronics technician, or a comparable qualification.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Good understanding of technical correlations and knowledge in electronics, metal processing, and mechanics.
• Basic PLC knowledge, ideally S7/1200 /TIA Portal.
• Knowledge of EPLAN and electric motor technology and drives.
• Independent, structured, and quality-oriented work habits.
