About the position
The Electrical EPC Project Manager will oversee the engineering, procurement, and construction of solar projects and collection infrastructure for a significant development project pipeline. This role involves diagnosing and resolving performance issues in existing solar facilities and may include broader project management responsibilities for solar and storage assets. The position is based in Chicago and reports to the SVP of Engineering or the CTO.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the engineering, procurement, and construction of solar projects and collection infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve performance shortfalls in existing solar facilities.
- Manage project timelines and ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Oversee the construction of solar and storage assets as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Energy Storage EPC, Utility Scale Construction, Wind, Solar Power Generation, or Battery Storage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management is required.
- Strong electrical background is a must.
- Willingness to relocate to the Chicago area is required.
