About the position

GH Electrical Services is seeking an experienced Electrician with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in both commercial and residential electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. The role involves ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will work independently and as part of a team, contributing to the company's commitment to quality and safety in electrical services.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including inspection, testing, and servicing of electrical equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns.
• Assist in the training of junior electricians and apprentices.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, organized, and safe manner.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience as an electrician in both commercial and residential environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools, diagnostic equipment, and systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (including confined spaces and elevated areas).
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality work.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
