This position is specifically for an Electrical Hardware Design Engineering Intern within the Electrical Systems Department's Hardware Design branch. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of design engineering activities, including concept development, architecting, implementing, and testing printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) such as power supply, mixed-signal, FPGA, and microcontroller designs. Additionally, there are opportunities for skill development through participation in printed circuit board layout, signal integrity analysis, power distribution network design, technical trade studies, and evaluation of technology improvements. The selected candidate will work closely with their assigned mentor on tasks that are beneficial to the intern's skills development and valuable to the programs they are working on.
