About the position

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer (Early Career) to join our HPC/AI Platform Engineering team. This role is designed to be primarily onsite at an HPE office, where you will be part of a dynamic team focused on cutting-edge, high-performance, high-scale customer solutions across various industries. As an Electrical Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing engineering solutions for electrical and electronic components, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms, adhering to established engineering principles and specifications. In this position, you will implement established test plans for existing designs, ensuring validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements. You will also develop a strong understanding of and relationship with both internal and outsourced development partners involved in electrical hardware design and development. Collaboration is key, as you will participate as a member of a project team alongside other electrical hardware engineers and development partners to create reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for products of low to moderate complexity. Responsibilities

  • Design portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and specifications.
  • Implement established test plans for existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
  • Develop an understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
  • Participate as a member of a project team of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
