About the position
The Electrical/Industrial Maintenance Technician role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and industrial equipment to ensure efficient operations across multiple shifts. This position requires a skilled technician who can work independently and collaboratively to address maintenance needs while adhering to safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop effective solutions
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Utilize electrical testing equipment to identify and resolve problems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Collaborate with other technicians and cross-functional teams to address maintenance needs
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical or Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Willingness to work multiple shifts as needed
