The Electrical & Instrumentation Field Engineer position at Edgewater Technical Associates involves overseeing the construction of design-build projects, ensuring compliance with safety and security requirements, and providing support to the Construction Manager. The role requires interfacing with subcontractors, reviewing work packages, and ensuring that all materials and documentation are properly managed to facilitate project completion.
Responsibilities
- Interface with subcontractors for the construction of design-build projects.
- Ensure subcontractors follow all safety and security requirements.
- Forecast percent complete and support construction sequencing.
- Provide support to the Construction Manager as required.
- Review Work Packages for job steps and materials needed.
- Ensure latest copies of all drawings are included in work packages.
- Stage all materials required for work packages to support completion.
- Maintain adherence to work package steps and documentation requirements.
- Complete thorough audits of work packages and close packages.
- Identify interferences with other crafts and advise on solutions.
Requirements
- Active DOE Q Clearance
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in Electrical/Instrumentation and Construction background
- Experience in building construction, planning, and on-site supervision
- Must be a US Citizen
