About the position

The Electrical Integrator L1 at Georgia Tech will play a crucial role in providing technical support to program managers, project directors, task leads, and senior-level Electrical Integrators. This position is essential for assisting with basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical cables, circuits, and assemblies. The Electrical Integrator L1 will engage regularly with faculty and staff project/task leaders, technical leads, contractors, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various teams. In this role, the Electrical Integrator L1 will be responsible for supporting program managers and project directors with basic electrical assembly work, including cable assembly fabrication and electrical chassis fabrication and assembly. The position will also involve assisting with the testing and troubleshooting of circuits and systems, as well as kitting parts using a Bill of Materials or other online inventory tools. Additionally, the Electrical Integrator L1 will support other work teams as needed, utilizing skills such as mechanical assembly, welding, metal work, drafting, parts inventory, and technical documentation. The role may also include performing other job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the projects undertaken by Georgia Tech.

Responsibilities

  • Support program managers, project directors, and task leads with basic electrical assembly work such as cable assembly fabrication and electrical chassis fabrication and assembly.
  • Assist with basic testing and troubleshooting of circuits and systems.
  • Assist with kitting parts using a Bill of Materials or other online inventory tools.
  • Support other work teams, as needed, with skills such as mechanical assembly, welding, metal work, drafting, parts inventory, and technical documentation.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree, or two years college coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Up to two years of job-related experience.
