About the position
Furmano Foods is seeking an Electrician for their 3rd shift operations. The role involves performing maintenance repairs, troubleshooting, and supporting food production and labeling operations. The Electrician will be responsible for completing work orders for planned projects and addressing breakdowns and repairs, requiring both teamwork and individual contribution skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance repairs and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Support food production and labeling operations.
- Complete work orders for planned projects.
- Address breakdowns, failures, and repairs in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively in team settings and independently as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years of related electro-mechanical experience or an Associate's Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, completion of a Certified Apprenticeship Program, or applicable DD214 verified Military Training.
- Extensive PLC (Allen Bradley) technical knowledge, including programming and ladder logic.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Passion for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with high voltage, three-phase systems.
- Comfortable replacing motors, drives, and mechanical drive train components.
Nice-to-haves
- Robotics familiarity is a plus.
