About the position

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe systems, and electrical systems within the manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and quality standards while ensuring optimal equipment performance and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots basic electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
• Troubleshoots Programmable Logic Controllers, Relay Logic, and Complex Hydraulic systems.
• Runs pipe, conduit, and pulls wire.
• Changes pumps, motors, and addresses other mechanical issues.
• Performs preventive maintenance on all facilities, buildings, and equipment as required.
• Responds to breakdown calls and ensures equipment uptime.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas and equipment.
• Communicates key events and information to supervisors to ensure continuity in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Follows lock-out tag-out and confined space policies/procedures.
• Conducts mold care and cleaning, minor mold repairs, and mold maintenance.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or prior experience/training in a manufacturing environment.
• 1 year of electrical experience.
• 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Commitment to high safety standards and compliance with safety laws, policies, and rules.
• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop, and regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Low Pressure Permanent Molding, Permanent Molding, Semi-Permanent Molding, Lost Foam, and High Pressure Die Castings.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
