About the position

The Electrical Manufacturing Supervisor at Metro Tech Electric is responsible for leading the Prefabrication Team in organizing, planning, designing, manufacturing, and coordinating detailed electrical prefabrication for various projects. This role requires a focus on operational efficiency, quality control, and team development, ensuring that prefabrication processes meet project needs while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Field Management, BIM/Revit Team, PM's, and Estimating to establish prefabrication opportunities from project start.
• Work with Field and Project Management throughout the project life cycle to ensure efficient use of prefabrication.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and execution of prefabrication manufacturing processes.
• Perform quality control on all materials leaving the shop.
• Ensure quality assurance on all materials to meet project needs consistently.
• Develop and implement project and staffing plans.
• Lead weekly Prefab Department meetings.
• Manage master Prefab Department scheduling.
• Maintain strict safety standards and meet tight deadlines.
• Identify training and career paths for team development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in electrical construction as a Prefab Manager
• Management experience of a team of 5-10
• Experience in a prefabrication and/or manufacturing environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong coaching and team development skills
• Proficient in basic computer functions and software
